What Is the Structure of the Cam Lock?

When we buy a cam lock, many people will ask a question like this. If the cam lock is difficult to open, should we add some oil to it?

In fact, the cam lock is different from the locks we use in our everyday life. The structure of the cam lock is relatively simple, but every time the key is inserted into the lock, it is difficult to turn the key. People then will put some oil in the keyhole of the door lock. In fact, the door is very difficult to open, but it can be solved as long as you put in a pencil. There is no need for oil. Because each lock cylinder is maintained with lubricating oil when leaving the factory, the keyhole does not need to be refueled. As a result, the cam lock is hard to unscrew like door locks.
 

What is the structure of the cam lock?

The cam lock we see in daily life is generally composed of bolts, lock bodies, nuts, screws and keys (as shown in the figure below).
